I am definitely opposed to the petition from the Direct Marketing Association to amend the Telemarketing Sales Rule so as to abandon the safe harbor provision. Neither businesses nor homes need to waste their time on the phone with such unwelcome interruptions. The Telemarketing Sales Rule has been a boon to all of us. Please don't change it.
