Comments:
The proposed amendment to the Telemarketing Sales Rule will benefit neither consumers nor the companies who would like their business, other than the telemarketing companies themselves. I urge the Commission to reject this attempt by the telemarketing industry to exempt themselves from this rule. It shows blatant disregard for the intent of the Do Not Call List, which is supported by the majority of the American public. We do not want more telemarketing!
