Gentlemen, Under no circumstances should the FTC loosen its rules for "Do Not Call". If you believe the FCC rules and FTC rules should be changed in order for them to be "in line," then have the FCC rules modified to be "in line" with the FTC rules. One good reason for not loosening the FTC rules is the very real possibility that an emergency would occur while one of these calls is tying up the telephone, thereby interfering with immediate placement of a call to 911. No one I know needs or wants to receive solicitations of a business nature. Sincerely, Lyle Hoover
