I am totally against this proposal. Just because I have done business with a company in the past, it doesn't mean I wish to continue to do so. I can call them if I'm interested. I am already on a do-not-call list which has worked great, but I shouldn't have to sign up again. It may be easier to hang up on a machine, but it is still an annoyance.
