Weakening this list restrictions would lead to more uninvited solicitation calls to people in their homes. There is no way around that fact. It must be obvious to everyone that the American people do not want to be disturbed in their homes by sales phone calls. The overwhelming numbers of those who signed up to the list should be all the the proof you need that we do not want these types of calls. Even if I have done business with a company in the recent past, I don't want to hear from them. The only companies that will be using this list are the large mega conglomorates with many diverse divsions. I don't want to buy insurance from my bank. I don't want to get a credit card from my phone company. I don't want my peace disturbed by them. I don't want my phone number misused in this way. Do not allow any restriction roll backs for the Do Not Call list. Please protect my privacy and peace of mind.
