Sirs: Just when we, the public, have finally achieved some relief from outsiders infringing on our time and resources, along comes someone with an idea to negate that. My home telephone is for my personal, private and emergency use and was never intended to be used for business purposes. I resent the fact that anyone can call and try to sell me anything, and was much relieved when the Do No Call law came into effect. Under NO circumstances should that law be undermined or thwarted. To allow telemarketing by prerecorded messages would be a travesity and completely nullify the original intent of the Do Not Call law. I urge you to do what is right regarding your public and not force our congress to have to return to this issue. Sincerely, Fredric P. Wilbur
