I am on the "do not call" list. This has been one of the greatest services ever! I totally object to the FTC overriding this service and allowing "recorded" messages to be allowed. It has been and will continue to be my opinion that this is an invasion of privacy. I do not pay my telephone bill each month for the convenience of telemarkerters. It is for my personal use and for the use of those people whom I have a genuine business or personal relationship with. As an American citizen, I do not want recorded phone calls to be allowed on my phone lines now or ever!! If I need them, which I never will, I will call them.
