Telemarketing serves some businesses at the expense of the privacy of households with phones. Calls by people you do not wish to speak with are an annoyance, and cause many people not to answer their phone but wait until a message is left on the answering machine. the Do Not Call list has been a true benefit and should not be tampered with.
