I disagree with any loosening or reduction of restrictions of the current No-call rules. I encourage the FTC to further strengthen the No-Call rules to include all political and charitable callers. I also encourage internet and cell phone restrictions against spam and telemarketing. Businesses have the option of mailing catalogues, flyers, or other sales materials, it should not be legal for them to harrass us over media that we pay for, such as our telephones and internet addresses. Mail is a cost to the advertiser, it should be a permissable source of marketing along with inclusion in local newspapers and TV advertising. All options that cost the marketer and are not intrusive to the public.
