FTC Board Members, Don't be duped by the telemarketing lobbyists. One of the best things the FTC has done in the last four years has been enacting the national "Do Not Call" list. Please don't tamper with the rules as the now exists. There are numerous ways for us as consumers to communicate, including finding out about sales, with the retailers we frequent. These days, it's as easy as turning on your computer, or signing up on a mailing list. WE DON'T WANT THEIR CALLS. Continue to uphold the consumer protection standards you've set and don't be bullied. Consumers support you.
