Comments:Please DO NOT open any more loopholes in this safeguard. We are already letting the answering machine take care of at least two or three calls per day. It does no good to file a complaint because we are outnumbered. They just switch their base calls and continue coming at you from a different number.. I have grown weary of attempting to file the complaint form(it always takes at least two attempts before the stupid machine is satisfied). As a matter of fact, I have lost count of the number of times I have quit in disgust when the machine kept insisting I had not filled out the form correctly! The wife refuses to participate in this battle. She has listened to me cursing the complaint form and says it is just simpler to ignore the 1-800 calls. She is probably correct but I shall register my opinion of this pernicious practice of home invasion to the bitter end. (signed)A Crotchety Old Curmudgeon.
