I am completely opposed to the creation of an additional call abandonment safe harbor to allow telemarketing calls, period. There is not one retailer or business relationship who I want a call from to promote their products. It is bad enough that I receive so much junk mail from those trying to sell me something! The last thing I want is for those companies to be interrupting my days with unnecessary calls. As it is, I simply hang up on anyone wasting my time with those sort of calls. Please do not amend the current regulations!
