This is written to urge no change or weakening of the Do Not Call Registry regulations be made. The sheer number of people calling to add their names to the Registry should made it very, very clear that people do not want telemarketing calls. Telemarketers and those who hire them should not override the will and voice of the majority. This is still a democracy, or at least one hopes. Telemarketing is often an invasion of privacy and the right to the quiet enjoyment of the individual. Please do not cave in to special interests. Thank you.
