Please do NOT "loosen" the restrictions on Do Not Call rules. Despite what some industry spokesmen may say, unsolicited calls are extremely annoying and in recent months we have had a marked decrease in such intrusive phone messages. I have read that some direct call organizations say that people WANT to hear from companies with products they want. That is completely false for me and I suspect most people. Even when I get calls from charities that I support (which are allowed under the current rules) I am extremely upset by them.
