The 2004 presidential campaign demonstrated that recorded calls are just as annoying as live-person calls. Please DO NOT allow the telemarketers to resume harassing us in any way, shape or form. I don't care how they disguise their efforts, whether it's a live voice or a recording, it makes no difference. The American people have stated loudly and clearly one at a time, 50 million of them, that they DO NOT WANT their daily lives interrupted by telemarketers. Again, please do not allow any exceptions to the current laws.
