Please do not make it any easier for telemarketers to disrupt our privacy. I would prefer a law that makes it illegal for anyone to make unsolicited telemarketing calls regardless of the business relationship. The recipient would have to "op-in" to receive calls. The sales pitch could always be included in the statement that comes from the business relationship. Otherwise, the sales pitch could be sent on a postcard, first class mail, advertised on radio or tv, or in newspapers.
