What was the point in passing the law to stop telemarketers from calling if you are just going to go back and allow this. What is the difference if its a person or a recording. They will both be doing the same thing. And that is bothering people who don't want to be bothered this way. Im already on the do not call list. If you are going to do this why not have those that want to be called sign up instead of putting us thru this again. I work second shift I get home at 3:00 AM. I have to get up at 7:00AM to get my daughter ready to go to school. After she is on the bus I lay back down because I can't run on 4 hr. sleep a day. I have to have the phone on incase there is a problem at school and they have to be able to get a hold of me. I have been thru this before and it's no fun being woke up for this kind of thing. How would you like it if they called you at 3 or 4 AM. There is no difference, but I have to put up with it because I work second shift, and how many others are there that have the same problem. Im a Tool+Die maker and I have to have my wits about me to be able to do my job. It's a good job and I don't think it's right to be put in a position that I could get injured or lose my job because of making too many mistakes, or being to slow because I can't get enough sleep because these companies are calling to sell me something I won't be buying anyway. If the telemarketers are having a problem with not having any jobs, why not tell them to go back to school and learn a new job like the goverment is telling everyone else that is losing their jobs thanks to NAFTA or China. Please do not allow this to happen. Thank You William McPherson
