Please do not relax the restrictions regarding the Do Not Call list. I do not want to receive prerecorded calls from telemarketers, regardless of whether or not I have a "pre-existing" business relationship. Given the vast conglomerates that exist today, it seems far too easy for a telemarketer to claim that they have a pre-existing business relationship with me, the consumer. To relax that rule even further would, in my opinion, defeat the intent of the Do Not Call list. I strongly oppose loosening restrictions on telemarketers.
