Regarding the proposal to allow automated telemarketing calls, the current FTC policy against such calls has it right, and the FCC should align themselves with your prohibition. As annoying as unsolicited sales calls are, such calls from machines rather than humans would/will be worse. With a human, one can ask to be taken off the list. With the machine call, one must listen to the message to get to the toll free number to call back. Just say no to electronic panhandlers.
