Comments:
I strongly oppose these proposed rule changes and any other changes that would facilitate commercial telmarketing of any kind to persons who have not expressly requested such communications from individual companies. Many companies have the courtesy to ask their customers if they wish to receive communications or not and respect the choices made by their customers. Presuming an implied consent based on a purchase or anything else is entirely unacceptable. Companies unconcerned about my wishes as a customer will receive no further business from me.
