Comments:
I strongly object to loosening the regulations on the DO NOT CALL LIST for recorded calls. The FCC and FTC should know that thinking persons know when they want to contact a supplier with whom we have done business. We need no reminders. Any more accomodation for vocal SPAM by businesses will merely tell us that regulators are unduely influenced by corporations that make political contributions - read bribery. The rules are too loose now, as it is, allowing the exemptions for vendors for "existing relationship". If I want to call any provider of goods, I know who they are and that they are usually unresponsive to most contacts anyway. Any further increase in unwanted calls, especially recorded ones would be totally unacceptable. Gunther Steinberg, Ph.D. Portola Valley CA
