I am 100% against the proposed changes. It entirely defeats the purpose of the DO- NOT- CALL list. You would just be allowing recorded SPAM! I do NOT want recorded messages filling up my answering machine ---these messsages will not stop even it you try to intervene and hang up. And why should I pay cell phone charges for these idiots to send messages to my cell phone number! Shall we all send the cell phone charges for recorded spam calls to the FTC??? Gesshhh - just when we were starting to have some comfort in our home without telemarketing calls. Just when we felt free to actually answer the telephone again -- now you want to let these spammers back into our lives via another route. Who's side are you on anyway?
