I do not wish to have my privacy invaded by any telemarketers, especially via prerecorded messages. If and when I choose to purchase something, I'll do the legwork myself. And if a Company I do business with has something of value to offer me, they can simply insert brochures or advertising in with the bills they send me. By being able to call me on the telephone, and having to stop what I'm doing to answer the phone, these telemarketers are 'stepping' into my home, uninvited, and disrupting my routine. Not only is a phone call disruptive, I resent companies who don't even have the decency to hire a 'real-live' person to make the call. It's an insult to get prerecorded/computerized phone calls.
