It is respectfully requested that the FTC not allow recorded phone messages to be sent to the national Do-Not-Call-Registry. The Registry was set up to deny telephone and recorded messages, and should not be changed mid-stream, which would change the original charter. Prior to the Registry I received several recorded messages per week, some of which filled up my answering machine so that I was unable to retrieve messages which were important to me. In addition, I have registered phone numbers which would, when called with recorded phone messages woudl result in a large $ charge to me. Thank you for the original purpose of the Do-Not-Call-Registry, and thank you for allowing my input.
