I am firmly against any loophole affecting the Do Not Call Registry. I am currently registered but recently have received calls from not-for-profit organizations who use telemarketers and recorded telemarketing messages. The recorded messages are annoying due to the spam collected on my voice mail. Telemarketing is a nuisance and pointless in my case, because I never respond to telephone solicitation. An opt-in registry can be made available to the few who prefer to receive telemarketing calls. To say the loophole will not have dramatic results is unrealistic. If the change is enacted, everyone will be bombarded once again with telemarketing calls interrupting our days. And worse yet we will have to clear the unwanted calls from our voice mail/answering machine. NO LOOPHOLES!!
