I would urge the FTC to NOT allow any unsolicited calls to private home numbers. I consider these calls an invasion of privacy, more than a little annoying and a waste of my time and energy. I assure you, if I have done business with any of these firms I know how to contact them or check their advertising when and If I want to interact with them.
