I'm writing concerning the effort to open a loophole to allow companies to deliver 'pre-recorded message telemarketing.' to phone numbers in the do-not-call list. The effort is being organized by Allen Hile of the FTC's division of marketing practice. The proposed change specifies that recorded calls would be allowed only when an "established business relationship" exists, but provisions like that tend to be stretched to absurdity. I added my phone numbers to the do-not-call-list, so I would never receive telemarketing phone calls. Please do not weaken the effectiveness of the do-not-call-list by allowing this loop hole. Thank you...
