This is outrageous. Opening a new loophole means that I could receive telephone spam from, for instance, a variety of banks and phone companies of whom I am a customer (i.e., "with whom I have a business relationship.") This will happen even on my cell phone, where I PAY FOR THE CALL! So, with internet phone service now available to phone spammers at very low cost, I will be paying these companies to call me with their annoying, disruptive and time-consuming messages. The FTC should resist resist the pressure from the Direct Marketing Association. FTC exists in part to protect the interests of consumers, not corporations. Please do so.
