I am against the ammendment allowing pre-recorded messages. At election time my answering machine was filled with unwanted messages and the phone rang endlessly. With the technology available today, the problem would be enormous. American families deserve privacy in their own homes and should not have unwanted soliciation forced upon them. As a mother who takes care of small children and elderly relatives, I need my phone and time to be free of solicitation.
