Please be advised that I am definitely NOT in favor of any legislation or rules that allow unsolicited calls to any of my telephone numbers, be they land lines or cellular. By unsolicited calls, I refer to calls from any source, including auto-dialed calls, prerecorded messages, or direct calls from real people. I consider this an invasion of privacy, a waste of time and a huge annoyance, and I feel the same way about SPAM e-mail messages. If there is a product or a service I want to purchase, I have sufficient resources available to me (print media, television ads, Internet searches, personal referrals, etc.) to locate a source and initiate contact. Thank you for your consideration.
