I am totally against permitting prerecorded messages (even when there has been a previously established buyer/seller relationship) to be permitted as an exception to the Telemarketing Sales Rule. I fail to understand why this instance should be an exception, when in fact it is in many ways an even more egregious invasion via telephone. It disrupts consumers in the privacy of their homes, and the telemarketers don't even have to hire an employee to do it! We're interrupted by a machine! Please do not implement this excpetion. Thank you.
