I see no problem with voice messaging vs telemarketing. It seems as though voice messaging is permission based, no pushy persistent sales people and you CAN hang up anytime. as I understand it, you can opt out of receiving these calls anytime you want. There is a great deal of difference in the voice message and the telemarketer! I believe the voice message can sometimes be beneficial, especially in elections and such like. It is mainly informative and not sales pushing! So I think it should be separated from the telemarketing.
