Comments:
I am strongly opposed to any changes in the Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales as per Docket Id: RIN 3084-0098. The "Do Not Call" service protects our privacy from telemarketers who are as tenacious as pirates and about as trustworthy. I have notified all companies with which I do business that if they contact me by phone for anything except my protection I will terminate my association with them effective immediately. For instance, a credit card company may phone me to determine if my card is being used by myself or if it has been lost or stolen. They may not phone me with any form of sales pitch. Please do not do anything to weaken the Telemarketing Sales Rule.
