FTC members: My family and I vehemently oppose any changes in the Do Not Call list. Pre-recorded calls are at least as irritating as personal telemarketing calls -- especially when they are from organizations that we do business with. We must stop this attempt to water down the Do Not Call list so desperate telemarketers can once again invade my family's privacy. We are on the Do Not Call list. This is a family values policy that works. Do not abandon us now. Also, we encourage you to make the use of ALL personal information opt in instead of opt out. I have made many calls to opt out of information-sharing scams used by so many businesses that we deal with. This system is totally skewed toward business, not the consumer.
