Please do not allow allow companies to deliver pre-recorded message telemarketing as an exception to the Do Not Call Registry. This violates the intent of the registry. I registered because I do not want to receive solicitor calls. Pre-recorded message telemarketing calls are horrible and do not even have the marginally redeeming benefit of providing a person with employment making telemarketing calls. I fear that if pre-recorded message telemarketing calls are allowed, companies will heavily use this inexpensive, simple technology to bury Do Not Call Registry users in unwanted messages. The incentive to invest in this technology will probably also increase the on-going harassment of businesses and people not sophisticated enough to have enrolled in the registry. Please do not allow them to wake us up, interupt our meals, interupt family and social time, and fill up our message machines with UNWANTED CALLS. Do not allow pre-recorded message telemarketing!!! Thank you.
