I want the No Call list to mean no call/no phone contact/no email contact unless I have specifically and in writing authorized a company with whom I do business to contact me through my phone or through my email. Allowing prerecorded messages is just as annoying as a live person. A good example is the recent inundation of prerecorded messages during the election. Prior to the No Call list, I have been in the situation where I have had to turn off the ringer on every phone while caring for a sick family member. The No Call list has been a blessing, and I do not want to see it diluted.
