Comments:
Telemarketing rules as they are at the present time should NOT be altered or modified to permit unwanted calls to find a way around the intent of the original law. Such an outrageous idea should NOT even be considered. I believe the majority of us have already made plain that we do not want our privacy invaded by telemarketing calls at any time. I do not have a telephone for the use of big companies wanting to sell something, I have it for my purposes. If I want something from a company I will call them, I don't want them calling me! Especially with an obnoxious recorded pitch. Why should their rights supercede my rights? If the privacy rules we have in this country mean anything at all then I should have a right to be free of telephone calls that I don't want.
