I don't wish to receive pre-recorded calls from ANYONE. This includes political parties, doctor's offices confirming appointments, and "parties with whom I have a commercial relationship." The telephone is for two-way communication, except for dial-up services like time-of-day or weather, where the initiative is with the person who wishes to listen. Radio or TV are the proper media for pre-recorded messages. While you're at it, how about "Do Not Call" lists for political and charitable entities. The First Amendment doesn't say that I have to listen.
