Please do not ammend the current FTC rules in order to allow pre-recorded telemarketing messages to customers of companies. Our homes should be our refuges. Unwelcome interruptions from a pre-recorded message that must be answered and listened to before being allowed to opt out is an invasion of privacy. If I have an existing relationship with a company, they can send me notices by mail where I will control the time and place that I give their communication my attention. I am also against a change in rule to abandon the safe harbor provision and allow call abandonment to be measured over a 30 day period versus the current 3%/day/calling campaign. This change could create a burden on the individual unfortunate to experience a companies call abondonment for the month in one day in their home.
