I do not believe that loosening of the rules for telemarketers is in the best interest of the consumer. I do believe that telemarketers, whether voice or recorded, should only be allowed when the consumer actively "opts-in". In addition, this should be extended to all telemarketers, including non-profits and political parties. I have no interest in receiving such calls without asking for it. The consumer's privacy should be considered first. Thank you. Jim Lang
