Comments:
I strongly oppose these proposed changes. I do not pay for my telephone services so that I may receive marketing calls that I do not request, even if it is from a current business relationship. This proposal amounts to creating a legalized telephone spam system that is more time-consuming to dispose of than e-mail spam, which is annoying enough. I purchase my telephone services to maintain communication with my family, employer & friends, to be used at my discretion or their need, and to call for emergency services if required, not to be someone elses marketing tool. Please do not do this to us; we have already opted out of this junk, leave us out! ---RJS
