All my phones are listed in the Do Not call Registry for one reason, and one reason only: I do NOT want telemarketing calls (Period). That means, in other words, I do not want telemarketing calls, including those that are live, pre-recorded, left on an answering machine, from surveys, non-profits, politicians. So my comment is, absolutely DO NOT water down and provide telemarketers with a loophole! I can chose to OPT-IN when I purchase something, and give specific permission to a supplier, or to a vendor, or to someone fulfilling an order or getting back to me. I want to be left alone at home from anyone else, I want my cell number to left alone, I do not want dinnertime interruptions, I do not want my child to be on the receiving end, I do not want any opportunity to have my phone number "slammed", charged a fee, scammed nor called by telemarketers in any shape, form or format. The proposed loophole is a bad idea, not in my interest, not in the public's interest. Make the DO NOT CALL registry stronger, not weaker. The proposed loophole is a BAD IDEA!
