Dear FTC, I am writing this letter in opposition to your proposed change to allow answering machine spam. I was appalled to read that the FTC would even consider something so radically against what the public has decreed that they want...PRIVACY. The number of citizens that have signed up for the Do Not Call Registry should be an indication to you that people DO NOT want to be disturbed at home...be it by direct phone call or pre-recorded message. Your assessment that it would be of minor impact must be belt way thinking...join America and find out that no one wants what you are proposing. VOTE NO ON THE ANSWERING MACHINE SPAM LOOPHOLE YOU ARE TRYING TO IMPLEMENT. Sincerely, Bill and Pat Tyson
