|Subject:||Trade Regulation Rule on Telemarketing Sales|
|Title:||Notice of Proposed Rulemaking, Request for Comment|
|CFR Citation:||16 CFR Part 310|
Comments:This ammendment is a direct effort to circumvent the very successful privacy regulation subscribed to by over 60 million consumers who have already elected to 'opt out'. The change proposed is an affront to their privacy and will have a detrimental effect on the workplace and employee productivity, unnecessarily tieing up telephone lines and voicemail with unwanted messages. FTC is urged not to approve the ammendment.
