I feel it is a terrible idea to allow pre-recorded telemarketing to be exempt from the no call list. It is just as bothersome and annoying to get unsolicited ads on the phone by recording as it is a live person. It does not matter if I already am a customer or not, I do not want spam phone calls. Any person in the US knows the amount of recorded political calls we have just been bombarded with - I can see that happening by allowing this for telemarketers. As a consumer I should be able to choose not to be bothered with this annoyance, and I should not have to waste my time and dime to call them back to opt out of them bothering me - which may or may not work. PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW THIS LOOPHOLE TO OPEN UP! Until now the no call list has been a wonderful thing. Please keep it that way.
