Dear Federal Trade Commission,

I am disturbed by this proposed amendment of the Telemarketing Sales Rules. There are two main points of this amendment that raise my ire.

Firstly, pre-recorded messages are even more infuriating than having a person at the other end of the line. In this case, not only am I being bothered in my home by an unsolicited party, that party is doing so cheaply. This makes it more cost-effective for even more unsolicited parties to bother me in my home.

Secondly, the term "established business relationship" is very ill-defined. What constitutes an "established business relationship?" I fear that such a term could be used broadly, and to my detriment.

Please, Federal Trade Commission, do not pass this proposed amendment.
