I am against the amendment that would allow telemarketers to call my answering machine and leave messages on it. Total harassment...there's no way for me to even tell them to STOP calling. Have you ever picked up a call from one of those machines? If you hang up, it just calls again. And again. This just seems like a huge invasion of my privacy, especially since having an unlisted number doesn't stop them from calling. Please don't pass this amendment.
