It was a blessing that people could sign up for the "Do Not Call "registry. By letting the telemarketers call and leave pre-recorded messages now will just open up doors to invade our privacy. If I want a business, I will call them. There are other forms of advertising. If this is allowed we will all be bothered with the pre-recorded crap like during the resent presidential campagin. Coming home from work and wading through 25 pre-recorded calls is a pain in the behind. I have more important things to do than answer a pre-recorded phone call. I have just as much right to my privacy in my own home as they claim the marketing people have to advertise and solicit me. I'd like to see how much these people enjoy this stuff at home-especially after 9 pm. In other words-I am against it.
