I urge you not to do anything to weaken the current protections enjoyed by citzens across the United States due to the Do Not Call list. For the last year I have greatly enjoyed the ability to sit down for a quiet meal with my family, uninterrupted by a constant barrage of marketing phone calls. In my estimation, it doesn't matter if it is a live person on the phone or a pre-recorded message. The inconvenience of being contacted for marketing purposes is the same either way. I did not sign up for a "Do Not Call Unless it is a Pre-Recorded Message Being Delivered By an Autodialer" list; I signed up for the Do Not Call list because I do not want to be contacted by phone for marketing purposes period. Please do not act to deprive me of the peace and quiet the Do Not Call list has brought to my life.
