Comments:
As an individual who received at least 10 telemarketing calls daily before I entered my number on the DNC list, and who continues to receive at least 2 calls daily from non-profit organizations who claim to be exempt, I am dismayed that the FTC would entertain the idea of allowing an increase in the number of intrusive telemarketing phone calls by allowing pre-recorded messages to disturb my activities. The phone calls themselves are aggravating, regardless of whether it is a person or computer that is on the other line. I realize that there are strong lobbies involved, but I do hope that you will have enough respect and consideration for the people whom you are supposed to serve to deny corporations the right to intrude even further into the sanctity of our homes.
